Hot Summer Nights – Wednesday 1 March

Payneham Pool is likely to activate their Hot Weather policy, and we may not be able to set up until 8 pm.

If this occurs games will start at 8:10pm and will be slightly shorter; however could B grade teams Red, Yellow, Blue and Green still arrive at 7:30pm in case the pool does not extend their opening hours for the public.

Congratulations Australian team members.

Congratulations to all these South Australian players who have been selected to represent Australia in the upcoming Oceania Canoe Polo Championships in New Zealand, 22-24 April.

Open A Men’s: Steven Hubbard, Adam Hofmeyer and Ben Stark, with Steven selected as the captain.

Under 18: Will Polley and Ben Melville (and special thanks for coaching from Adam Hofmeyer)

To all who have been selected to represent SA at the nationals; we have an official state shirt that players need to wear when receiving medals. Noel Holmes will be bringing shirts next Wednesday, 1 March, for those who wish to purchase one.

Some players choose to borrow a shirt for the presentations. If any past state players have shirts that they are willing to lend for the occasion please let Simon know, and he will broker the loans.  (langsf@ozemail.com.au).

Simon and Anne will be taking Ken’s canoe trailer over to Nagambie. If your polo kayak or paddle need a lift please let us know. Limited spaces; $25 return trip. (langsf@ozemail.com.au).

Let’s have a strong South Australian presence at Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre.
