A great weekend of canoe polo competition took place at Lake Nagambie, Victoria on the weekend of 27-28 April. South Australia was well represented in all categories - Open Division 1 and 2, Open Women, Juniors and microjuniors - a new division trialling modified field and goals for those new players under 15. The venue held three fields, situated right on the banks of the Lake Nagambie Leisure Park - providing exceptional facilities and close accomodation for all. Nagambie currently hosts rowing and waterskiing aquatif facilities and there is local council support to further develop the venue with permanent canoe polo tournament facilities. Congratulations goes to all competitors, all place getters and to the Victorian Canoe Polo organising committe for putting on a great competition at an exceptional venue.
CONGRATULATIONS to all South Australian athletes, coaches and officials who represented Australia in recent weeks at the 2013 Oceania Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand.
